Sabu and I are headed for the beach and the Newport Spin-In, car loaded to the gunnels with fiber and stuff for sale. Hopefully there will be room in the car on the return trip.
I am woefully behind in my blog reading and comment responding and I hope you’ll forgive me – the week has been crazy busy. But, hey, I launched the new website – Starting Over Designs. It’s still rough, but I printed out business cards to hand out so there should be a website to look at, right? More details and stuff next week.

At least the accomodations were free! And dog-friendly, too! The things we do for the love of fiber and seven streams of income! What a blast! Well, gotta go feel up the beautiful batt I won, and hope Sofia doesn’t burn out before she becomes rich and famous…er, infamous!

I always thought that the drive from Florence to Newport was one of the most beautiful in the world. When I was sad, lonely or afraid, I used to make that drive to cheer myself.

Florence to Newport is a pretty drive. I, however, was going from the Valley to Newport over Hwy 20 – a twisty-turny route that people drive way too fast. It wasn’t bad this time – I seemed to miss the weekend rush both ways. Whew!
